The controls are out and the forecast is good! We've had a high number of pre-entries, which is great. As a result, we have no spare maps for the long course for entry-on-the-day, and a very limited number of spare maps for the medium (only 4 spare maps). If you haven't pre-entered on these two courses, you will have to wait for a later start time and see if recycled maps become available. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a map if you haven't pre-entered, but we'll do our best. There are plenty of maps available for the adventure course.

Was there an issue with a control box? The results seem to have a number of inconsistencies.

Also there are four brown dots at control 5. What feature are they representing?

Thanks everyone for coming out today. It's rare to be at an event in Kildare where the main talking point is how hot it was on the course!

There was an issue with the timing on control 217 (number 8 on medium and 6 on the long). The time on the SI box itself was incorrect; it didn't affect the control being registered, or the overall result, but it affects the split time to that control (and after). We've removed that control from the uploaded results.

The brown dots are symbol 113 - broken ground from ISOM 2017-2.

The next event in the CNOC summer series will be in Emo Court on 7th June.
