Forest/Sprint WOC Proposal

There is a proposal by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) which will be decided upon at an Extraordinary General Assembly during WOC 2015 with regards to splitting WOC to have a forest and urban WOCs on alternate years.
Notice on the IOF website can be found here, http://orienteering.org/agenda-and-documents-for-extraordinary-general-assembly-published/
A link to the proposal can be found at that web address.
There are a few ? in the proposal with regards to an unknown race format for the Sprint WOC, and mention of qualification races is made with regards to middle/long.

The Irish Orienteering Association (IOA) will be present at the meeting and will vote either in favour or against the proposal. I am therefore seeking feedback from Squad Members on the proposal. The IOA will discuss it at committee at the beginning of July so I would like feedback by June 30th. The selection race weekend should also provide an opportunity for discussion of the topic.

I look forward to hearing your opinions, elite@orienteering.ie
