The number of events to count to complete this year’s Leinster League is changed from 7 to 6, since the Castletown event was cancelled and there will only be 11 events in the league That means there is a good opportunity to complete the league and be in contention for prizes by completing the 2 remaining events to come. This Sunday in Dunmore Wood and next Sunday, Dec 10th in Trooperstown.  We are planning to have the prizegiving for the league at Trooperstown.

See the   League Table  for current positions.
Also let me know if you are entered twice on the same course due to a mispelling or using a different SI.

The final 2017 Leinster League event is on Sunday in Trooperstown.
The Prizegiving will be held afterwards in the Coach House in Roundwood. An area will be reserved for Orienteers after 1.30. We hope to have the prizegiving as soon as possible after that. Remember last starts are at 12.30.

The prizes as in recent years will be vouchers for Basecamp in middle abbey street.

On the Brown course Colm Hill looks to have wrapped up 1st place. 2nd and 3rd is between Angus Tyner, Hugh Cashel, and Aonghus O'Cleirigh. With planner controller organiser points due to each of them it's all still in play.

On the Blue, mens, Dave Weston could overtake Paul Smyth for 1st when OPC points are allocated. For 3rd Marcus Geoghegan could overtake Trevor Hodkinson, with an outside chance for myself (Stephen Whittle and Dave Tyner don't qualify for prizes on the Blue)

For the girls Eadaoin McCavana's lead will be in trouble if Caoimhe O'Boyle turns up. Clodagh Moran and Eileen Young will be fighting for 3rd place.

Donal Wickham looks to have wrapped up 1st mens on the green even without OPC points. Tommy Burke and Ciaran Donaghy should get 2nd and 3rd.

Eileen Loughman could overtake Heather wood for 1st girl. If Mary O'Connell turns up she could overtake Aoife Donaghy for 3rd.

On the Light Green Hans and Sam Van Gelderen need to turn up to claim a prize, and so does Sinead Young.

Unfortuately nobody can complete 6 events on the Red course.

Cian Wickham and Tivon Tyner will fight for 1st on the Orange. Emmet O'Cleirigh could be caught for 3rd by Lucas Tyner or Leon Lawless if he turns up.

On the Yellow Gerry Browne looks to have wrapped up first with Daragh Young 2nd and Conor Masterson 3rd. Niamh Browne should win the girls 1st with Aoife Masterson 2nd.
